Sustainable Roots helps children develop a deep understanding of the world around them and empowers them to dream big about making a difference. By planting seeds of knowledge and environmental care, we’re nurturing a new generation of thoughtful, resourceful leaders ready to create a sustainable future.
The Sustainable Roots program is a supplemental afternoon program for students enrolled in Guthrie School’s Kindergarten program. Beginning in the 2025/2026 school year, students will attend the core Kindergarten program in the morning and transition into Sustainable Roots in the afternoon, creating a full day of engaging, hands-on learning. The program will run in the afternoons at a cost of $350 per month.
For families using school bus transportation, students will be able to ride the bus to the same bus stop they use for morning pickup, ensuring a smooth end to their day.
To help us gauge interest and determine whether the program will run, please Pre-Register below. We require at least 18 students to launch the program. Pre-registration is non-binding and helps us plan ahead.
