On April 14, 2022, we celebrated Purple Up Day at our school. On this day, we honour our military children for their sacrifices and recognize their strength, resilience and bravery! Guthrie students enjoyed a pancake breakfast, a tour of a LAV and MP vehicles, weapons display, a photo booth and carnival games. Thank you to Col Mcbride for making this event an important day in our community. Thank you so much to MWO Simoneau for arranging all the pancakes. Thank you to PPCLI 1 and 3 for providing the LAV and weapons display. Thank you to our Sturgeon Public School Board Trustees for visiting our school, and thank you to the MFRC and base gym for providing activities. We love your children and hope they had a wonderful day!
