Erin Murphy
Vice Principal
Erin Murphy has held a variety of positions throughout her career as an educator. This includes Director of Inclusion, Principal, Assistant Principal, Learning Support teacher and teacher within Grande Yellowhead Public School Division.
Erin has taught Math grades six through twelve. She has built programs to support Inclusive Education, including the Achieving Independence Classroom and a Success Center, which encompassed Alternative Programming as well as Career and Academic Advising. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Concordia University College of Alberta and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She has completed a Graduate Certificate and Diploma from the University of Calgary in Educational Research.
In her spare time, she enjoys art, theater and reading as well as spending time with her adult daughter and cheering on her nieces and nephews in their extra curricular activities.
She aims to be a student-centered leader who has a keen interest in mentorship.
